Zion T

For those who are into music with lyrics that acquire a deep meaning, I would recommend songs form Zion T. . I came across one of his song while I was browsing through the net. The first song that captivated me was Eat (꺼내 먹어요) . Before going in depth into the meaning of the song here is a brief information regarding Zion T.

Zion T. is a hiphop aritst and a record producer managed by Amoeba Culture. He debuted in 2011 by starting with collaborations followed by solo records. Last year he won the Best R&B and Soul album with the song 'Red Light' during the 11th Korean Music Awards. 

꺼내 먹어요) .Through this song, Zion T intends to ease and console those who are looking for comfort because they are having a hard day. He hopes that people find happiness in the small things, like having a chocolate or an apple on the morning, and get strength to carry on the day.

The song that every girl would love to hear after a long day at work. His sincerity in the song makes it seem as if he understood what his listeners are going through in their daily lives. The act of concern and love he displayed in the song fills up the emptiness that an individual may feel. Skipping meals may be issue for some and the reminder that he gave in the chorus would definitely help to stimulate their appetite. Overall I rate this 7/10 for trying to establish a strong connection with his listeners. The song gets very dry after listening it for a few times but still deserve a thumbs up.

Another song that grabbed my attention was Yanghwa Bridge. Initially I wanted to reconfirm the lyrics  "My father is a taxi driver" after watching Joo Heon from MONSTA X impersonating him. Apparently the song was released inThe song has a deep meaning but can be related to people from different backgrounds.

A family. What does it mean to you?  What memories do you have of them? He shared the struggles he faced and the changes overtime but his aim never changed that was for his family to live happily and deterring from any illnesses. He mentioned how he looked up to his dad and loved the attention that his mum gave him overtime. I'm not too sure about you but that is what I hope to achieve as well. A lovely song that touches listeners. There is a lot to take in from this song so it may require listeners to replay the song for a few times but it is worth your time. 

I hope to hear more of his songs. I wonder whether his other songs would be able to top the 2 that i mentioned. hahaha.. If there is, I would definitely let you know.
